Golden Week
ゴールデンウィーク・キッズクラス開催！
ゴールデンウィーク中の2日間、午前中の時間を使って、いつもとは一味違う楽しくてエキサイティングな特別稽古を行いました！
普段の技の練習とは少し趣向を変え、まずは受け身や短刀（たんとう）のスキルをしっかりと練習。そのあと、身につけたスキルを使っていろいろなゲームに挑戦しました。いつもの短いクラスではできないような、広いマットをいっぱいに使った大きなゲームも行い、みんなで大盛り上がり！とても充実した楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
せっかくの休日の朝早くから元気に参加してくれたみんな、本当にありがとうございました！
Golden Week Kids Club
For two mornings on Golden Week we got together to do some extra training in some fun and exciting classes. Rather than the usual technique focussed lessons we practiced some skills and then used them to play some games. We covered Ukemi and Tanto and had a grea time playing some bigger games than we can usual play in shorter classes. Thank you to all the kids who turned up early in the mornings on their holidays!

三月の審査に続き、この四月にはさらに二名の門下生が審査を受けました。七級に一名、そして六級に一名が挑戦しました。

To continue on from the March test we had to more students take test this April, one for 7th kyu and another for 6th kyu.

今年の三月、五名の門下生が昇級審査を受けました。八級に三名、七級に二名が挑戦しました。

This March we had five students testing, three students took the 8th kyu test and two students took the 7th kyu test.
Online Class - Spring
イギリス道場とのオンライン稽古
再びCarpe Diem BJJスタジオをお借りして、オンラインクラスを行いました。白・赤・オレンジ帯の生徒たちが一緒に稽古に参加し、こちらは私を含めて6名、ノッティンガム道場からは寒い日曜日の朝にもかかわらず約10名が参加してくれました。今回は、来月の6級審査に向けて正面入身投げのバリエーションと日本目組手を中心に稽古を行いました。
Online training with UK Dojo
We visited Carpe Diem BJJ studio again for another online class. It was great to have students of white, red and orange belts training, all together we had 6 students and myself while in Nottingham there were about 10 students who woke up early on a cold Sunday morning to come and train together. We covered Shomen Iriminage variations - to help get the students ready for their 6th kyu test next month - and Nipponme Kumite.
Spring 2026
新しい仲間とバッジチャレンジ
新年のスタートとして、とても良い形で稽古が始まりました。子どもクラス・大人クラスともに新しいメンバーが加わり、にぎやかな雰囲気となっています。子どもクラスでは、みんなが新しい技を一生懸命に学び、元気いっぱいの稽古が続いています。
また、1か月間のバッジチャレンジにも取り組み、ついに基本バッジをすべて達成した生徒が初めて誕生しました！おめでとうございます。
2月の大人クラスは少し落ち着いた参加状況でしたが、体験に来てくださる方もおり、その中から新しく入会してくださった方もいます。
New Students and Badge Challenges
What a great way to kick off the new year, the class is packed full with a few new students joining us in both the adults and kids classes. The atmosphere has been full of energy in the kids classes as they are all doing their best to learn the new techniques. We also did a month of Badge Challenges and had our first student complete the full set of Basic Badges! Well done.
The adult classes were a bit quiet in February as everyone was a little busy, but we had a few visitors come and try out the club with some signing up as members now.
