Friends from the USA

It was a real pleasure to have a couple of friends, Andy and Calvin, come across from America to visit me and my family. I’ve not seen Andy for over 10 years, so it was so much fin to catch up. They were really excited to have the unique experience of joining us in our Aikido training despite having never done it before.

They both picked it up well and it was a good experience for me teaching both my students Kaz and Yosuke who can do the techniques well and Andy and Calvin who have never seen or done anything like this before.

Andy, Calvin and I went into Obihiro for a nice meal and were really please to have both Kaz and Yosuke come out to join us. It was one of what I hope to be many more cross cultural experiences we have at our club.
